The
Challenge
Bennigan’s needed to rev up its summer sales and wanted
to feature new menu items to increase guest visits and bring
in new guests. They wanted to feature seafood and some Mexican
food entrees.

The
Solution
We
created the “Tijuana Bus Party” and developed
a menu insert with a sound chip to get the party started.
Part of the promotion’s success was due to our suggestion
to create a waitstaff training kit to fully explain the promotion
and all the new food offerings prior to their rollout. We
engaged marketing, R&D and restaurant operations/management
to influence every piece of communication.
Nation’s
Restaurant News heralded the insert as a restaurant marketing
first and it helped increase sales vs. previous promotions.
